The short version

A small bridge.
A big difference.

A browser can’t always speak directly to a hardware wallet. Bridge is lightweight software that helps supported browser-based apps find and communicate with your connected Trezor.

01

Connect your device

Use a data-capable USB cable and connect your Trezor to your computer.

02

Bridge does the handoff

For supported web apps, Bridge relays communication between the browser and device.

03

You verify on-device

Review transaction details on your Trezor screen. Confirm only what you recognize.

A safer start

Choose your
operating system.

Use this checklist as a starting point. Get downloads and the latest instructions directly from Trezor—not from ads, messages, or download mirrors.

  1. 01

    Select your operating system above.

  2. 02

Use only current installation guidance from the official Trezor website.

  3. 03

Connect your device and confirm any prompts on the device itself.

Never enter your recovery seed into a website or computer app. Trezor support will never ask you to share it.

Keep the boundary clear

Bridge connects.
Your Trezor protects.

Bridge is not a wallet, an exchange, or a place to store crypto. It does not replace the hardware device. The device is where you inspect and approve sensitive actions.

Good to know

Questions,
answered.

Is Trezor Bridge the same as Trezor Suite?

No. Trezor Suite is Trezor’s wallet application. Bridge is a separate communication helper used by certain browser-based apps. Follow Trezor’s official guidance to learn which software you need.

Does Bridge store my crypto or recovery seed?

Bridge is a connection layer, not a wallet. Your recovery seed should never be entered into Bridge, a browser, or any computer application.

Why can’t my browser see my Trezor?

Check that the cable supports data, reconnect the device, close other wallet tabs or apps, and consult current official troubleshooting guidance. Never install a fix from an unsolicited message.

Is this the official Trezor website?

No. This is an independent informational guide and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Trezor. Visit trezor.io directly for official downloads and support.
